  1. They didn’t talk enough about prep for ecu…I know that was a huge win, but that was last week. ECU is Saturday, and they will be here to win, and play tough. I’m scared of the complacent celebration.

  2. all the interview with the exception of wiles were terrible from an audio point just because six interviews were going simultaneously the media forks probably could hear fine, but us old guys who send a few pennies to Blacksburg, for the most part were unintelligible.

  3. Chris / Will- thanks for filming the interviews! I know you already have a 2-man opn going there- is it possible for you to get another voice recorder to put on the table for another interviewee? Even a voice-only interview is definitely great to listen to.

Per the CBS question- one of my VTCC brothers played for VT in 95/96 (I hate to say this, that I can’t remember his name- embarrassing! though he was a junior in 95- african american, all I am coming up with is Danny Pearman, but that was the TE coach back then, I think). CBS might remember him- he was about 6’2-6’3, about 225 lb. Not much help there…

      1. Danny’s a heck of a lot bigger than that now – strength and conditioning coach at UNC Greensborough. He was #90 – walk on who turned into a starter and won Big East Defensive Player of the Week one week. Great person. What up DWheel – i know you’re reading this after the big win!!!

  4. Will, would it be possibe to have the interview room fixed so you basicly hear the person being interviewd. The sound can be heard from others to the point you cannot hear the person on the interview. Even if they put up panels between interviews. Appreciate any thing that can be done.

    1. Nah, I can’t change the way VT does their interviews. Obviously there are 20 or so people in there, so it will get loud. But there isn’t anything I can do about it.
