Reynolds Is A Hokie

Northern Guilford (Greensboro, N.C.) cornerback Mook Reynolds has indeed verbally committed to Virginia Tech, giving the Hokies two commitments this weekend and four commitments in total in the class of 2015.

Reynolds’ commitment was first reported by HokieHaven.com last night. The Roanoke Times and others have confirmed the decision this evening.

Reynolds, a 6’0″, 165-pound prospect, performed well on both sides of the ball his junior season, when he had 80 tackles including 13 tackles for loss and 46 receptions for 639 yards and 12 touchdowns. Virginia Tech is recruiting him as a cornerback, which is the position three of Tech’s four class of 2015 commitments are projected to play.

Virginia Tech was the first school to offer Reynolds a scholarship. Duke, East Carolina and UNC offered recently, but the Tar Heel State star has decided to be a Hokie.

  1. Granddaughter is a Sr. at Northern Guilford (Greensboro NC) She said he’s a good guy. The football program is one of the top programs in the state 3A level. All-Star rookie receiver for San Diego Chargers played there and he was recruited by Univ.California

  2. I’m absolutely shocked that cornerbacks would want to come learn to be All-ACC and future NFL players under Torian Gray.
