  1. I’m 45 and the Hokie Club has always known where I live. My wife and I (both grads) have always kept our info up to date with the alumni association. I’ve been a donor for about 10 years now. Although I loathe telemarketers and frequently hang up on them, I would gladly take a call from the Hokie Club to hear a pitch on what I might get if I gave X more dollars next year. Make it interesting for me; tell me what I don’t know about how the donations are used. Dangle carrots at me – do SOMETHING! I’ve never been called once and the only mail I receive is of the form-letter variety either thanking me for my donation, letting me know my points ranking or telling me the deadline for giving is arriving. As if I’m never aware that Dec 31 is coming. Kinda pathetic.

  2. Me and a friend (30 and 32 years old) had the Hokie Club talk yesterday. Neither of us have ever received a call from the Hokie Club either.
