  1. Interested in his comment about Caleb. Caleb must have made an inpression as a RB somewhere along the line. Hope it works out for Caleb and the Team.

  2. Chris, Will – Again the content has been amazing, thank you! I really love this guy. He is accountable, thoughtful, intense… As much as it pains me to say it I think he may be the best option, not most deserving mind you, but maybe the best overall alternative for our next head coach. I think you have to give Bud the chance but I feel really good about this guy and his command of every aspect of his job and those of his charges.

  3. This guy impresses me every time I hear him talk. He’s eloquent; he’s to the point. He has presence.

More than that, though, there’s an understated intensity about him. Sometimes the reporters asked an awkward question and I expected him to blow up and chew the guy out, but instead he just chuckled. Whew! If I was that reporter asking the question, I’d have had sweat beading on my forehead before the permafrown turned into a smile.

  4. Very interesting stuff. The lack of checkdowns obviously bothered Leoffler, but as an observer of the offense …. I love that he’s TALKING about checkdowns, and that he expects his QB to dump it off when things aren’t available.

You can also tell that they really, really miss Malleck and had big plans for him. And the comment about moving Caleb to RB being “the smartest thing” they’ve done all fall was interesting, as well.

I think you’re listening to a future head coach. At VT? That remains to be seen. Somewhere? Yeah.
