Folks, the time has come. TechSideline is proud to bring you the first TSL Podcast, available for free. We’ll be bringing you podcasts weekly, with sometimes smaller podcasts coming in between.

This week, we tackle the decision to start Josh Jackson, depth questions at wide receiver and on the defensive line, and we do our best to predict Virginia Tech’s 2017 record. You can listen to the podcast below, or visit our Soundcloud page. Enjoy.

  1. I found “TSL Podcast” on iTunes, but it stands for “the sexual life” instead of TechSideline. Is this a new strategic direction to diversify into content with higher profit margins, or did I just stumble upon the wrong pod? ; )

  2. Yeah, I had trouble hearing Will and Chris as well. Just sounded like they were sitting back from the mic. Great show!

  3. Ricky, like beedubyah, I’ve been looking forward to a podcast from you guys; thanks for making it happen!

When you get a chance, can you look into creating an RSS feed for the podcast? I’d like to be able to subscribe to it using my podcast app.

  4. Can we get transcripts of the podcasts? They read a lot faster than listening to audio.

    1. Sorry BH, but that’s time-prohibitive. I think it would take at least four hours to transcribe this podcast, maybe more, and it’s very tedious, time-consuming work. The point of a podcast is to provide content in an alternate format (audio), so those who enjoy consuming that format can do so. It’s also got its appeal as a “guys hanging out talking” format, which would be lost if transcribed.

        1. Even better, paraphrased transcription….what if we pay 70/ yr? Agree that reading is faster.

  5. Feedback….Will and Chris need to either speak louder, speak into the microphone, or their sound needs to be turned up….Ricky is coming in clear, Will and Chris at the beginning….not so much.

    1. The audio should be more balanced in episode two. The problem has been identified.

      1. Good to hear; that was my only “complaint”, and that’s nitpicking. Great job guys, glad you’re taking the plunge!
