The Hokies are pretty beat up this spring. There are a lot of injured players on both sides of the ball, many of whom are starters. To make up for that, the Virginia Tech Spring Game will be run in offense vs. defense format, as it was last year.

Here is your point structure for the game.

Offense

Touchdown — six points

Extra Point — one point

Field Goal — three points

Defense

Turnover — seven points

Three and out — three points

Defensive stop — one point

There will also be no kickoffs, as all drives will start on the 35-yard-line. There will also be no rush on field goal attempts, extra point attempts or on punts.

Each of the four quarters will be 12 minutes long and will operate on a running clock. Halftime will be 10 minutes long. The offense will wear orange and the defense will wear maroon. Quarterbacks will be in yellow jerseys and will not be live.

All fans are encouraged to attend the game. There are no tickets, attendance is free.
