Virginia Tech Athletics announced on Monday, May 15 that a “limited number” of old seats from Cassell Coliseum would be available for purchase.
Revenue from the purchases will “go towards enhancements to the fan experience in Cassell Coliseum.”
The news comes as Virginia Tech announced in February that new wider, cushioned seats would be installed in certain areas of the arena. The seats being removed are now available for $375 dollars per pair of seats. Seats can be purchased in pairs only, and fans will be responsible for pickup.
