Peyton Falzone Commits To Virginia Tech

Peyton Falzone
Quarterback, Class of 2026
Nazareth, Nazareth, PA
6-5, 200

Virginia Tech picked up a surprise commitment from 2026 quarterback Peyton Falzone (Nazareth, PA) on Saturday evening. He is the first verbal commitment of the 2026 recruiting class.

Falzone is also listed with offers from Syracuse and Penn State, though he does not have a ranking from any of the recruiting services at this time. That is sure to change between now and December of 2026. He’s coming off a big sophomore season and should only improve.

Falzone completed 61.2% of his passes last season for 2,527 yards. He threw 19 touchdown passes and just four interceptions. He also added a further 447 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground while averaging 6.7 yards per carry.

After camping with the Hokies in June, Falzone quickly earned a scholarship offer. He was a first-year starter in 2023, and he is the son of Nazareth head coach Tom Falzone. His team went 12-2 last season.

  1. Wow this guy is impressive! Someone please find out if there is a Hokie relationship that brought him to us…

  2. Hope his verbal holds. I can’t imagine what he will look like as a senior. Very talented kid and I hope he comes to Blacksburg but somebody is going to try real hard to flip him.

  3. He went from 6’4″ Freshman year to 6’5″ Sophomore year. He’s still growing!!

  4. Quick release with strong, accurate arm. Just hope we can hang onto him when the Ohio State’s and Georgia’s come calling.

  5. Falzone? Sounds like an Irishman ordering a calzone. Speaking of which, I’m hungry!

Full disclosure I’m of Irish decent and 12 beers in.

  6. Nazareth PA, on the same side of the river as Northampton PA where Drunkenmiller played. Also, have the whole Andretti family in the neighborhood to support Nazareth HS. AND just about 10 miles up 191 from Freedom HS where Kaden & Brailen Moore hail from.

More Keystone Hokies coming to you.

    1. The band Nazareth playing in the background. Now your messing with a SOB. In all reality VT is probably a safety school a this early point. If he blows up, good luck

      1. Not thinking vt would be your safety school concern, if he also has other offers, to include the lions of the Nittany clan…
