Armed with five scholarship offers, Trinity Episcopal (Va.) 2023 cornerback Cameren Fleming is hoping the recent interest he’s received continues into the spring.

Fleming now claims offers from Tennessee, Minnesota, Kent State, Marshall and most recently, Virginia Tech. He’s made just one visit since the first of the year, in January to Marshall. Fleming has some spring visits lined up, which he hopes will give him the needed information to push his recruitment along.

“Right now is just the start,” he said. “My recruitment just began this year. I had a lot of interest, but when I got my first offer, I was relieved, from Kent State. But when I got the Power Five [offer] from Minnesota, it made me sit back a little bit and a lot of schools came in. It’s just all beginning. But I do want to narrow my list to some top list before the season starts. I want to at least get some stress off of me and commit after the season or something.”
