It can be tough to tell exactly who Virginia Tech is and isn’t heavily recruiting for the 2023 recruiting class.

The 247Sports database indicates that the Hokies have offered a total of 214 players for the 2023 class, but most of those guys were offered by the old Tech staff, and there’s no way of knowing whether they’ll continue to be recruited by the new staff this early into the recruiting cycle.

We know that some have been re-offered by the new staff, such as quarterback Vic Sutton. In other cases – such as running back John Randle, Jr. of Wichita, KS (I picked him at random) – it’s probably safe to assume that Brent Pry and his staff have moved in other directions.

The players listed in today’s article don’t represent a complete look at Virginia Tech’s entire offensive recruiting board. However, I chose them based on things like the recency of their offers, whether they’ve visited or plan to visit, and gut feel on whether or not I think they are legitimate targets for the Hokies.
