On Monday, Virginia Tech and the ACC announced the Hokies’ game at North Carolina, originally scheduled for Dec. 29, has been rescheduled for Monday, Jan. 24. The game at UNC will be an 8 p.m. ET tipoff on the ACC Network.

The contest was postponed on Dec. 27 due to COVID issues in the Virginia Tech program. However, both head coaches – Mike Young for VT, Hubert Davis for UNC – said they were hopeful that the game was going to be rescheduled, and it has been.

With the addition, Tech now squeezes in a road trip to Chapel Hill after a visit to Boston College (Sat., Jan. 22) and a home game vs. Miami (Wed., Jan. 26). As mentioned above, North Carolina is currently No. 34 in the NET, which means this is an opportunity for a Quadrant 1 win for the Hokies.

This Week

Virginia Tech (8-6, 0-3 ACC) travels to Virginia on Wednesday (9 p.m. ET, ESPN2) before hosting Notre Dame on Saturday (6 p.m. ET, ACCN).
