Virginia Tech’s Saturday home basketball game with the Pitt Panthers is off due to COVID protocols. It is the second consecutive Tech game to be postponed/canceled, with this week’s contest at UNC also not being played.

Technically the game has been postponed, though no date has been set for the game to be played, and none of Tech’s “postponed” games last season were ever played.

The Hokies are 8-5 overall and 0-2 in the ACC, and their next scheduled game is Tuesday, January 4 against NC State in Cassell Coliseum.  If the game is played, tipoff is currently scheduled for 7pm, and the game will be broadcast by The ACC Network.
