Thomas Dale (Chester, VA) defensive tackle Malachi Madison committed to Virginia Tech on Thursday afternoon.  He is the 23rd commitment of the 2022 recruiting class, and he’s one of four players who could potentially play defensive tackle.

Madison picked the Hokies over Mississippi State and UCF.  He played high school football in Georgia as a junior, but transferred back to Thomas Dale as a senior.  He is a native Virginian, and he’s ranked the No. 31 player in the state of Virginia by 247 Sports.

Madison is also listed with offers from Pitt, Colorado, Iowa State, Minnesota, NC State, Penn State and West Virginia.
