Chris Coleman: Here are the snaps and PFF grades for each of the defensive backs that Tech fielded against UNC last season:

S Tyler Matheny: 68 snaps, 41.9.  Matheny was a walk-on who was pressed into service, but he wasn’t a match for UNC’s athleticism.  He is not in the two-deep this year, and perhaps not even in the three-deep.

CB Jermaine Waller: 59 snaps, 59.0.  It should be noted that this wasn’t a full-strength Waller.  It was the first of just two games that he played in last year (the other being Liberty).  He missed just about the entire preseason with his foot injury.
