Trinity Christian Academy’s football program has a saying plastered on the wall of its locker room. It reads, “The most violent team wins.”
Before he was laying the lumber on opposing players in the maroon and orange, Chamarri Conner embodied this motto at his high school in Jacksonville, Florida.
“He lived that to the fullest,” TCA head coach Verlon Dorminey said. “Always had it. He was always such a big hitter.”
Conner, a quiet and reserved soul, has always preferred it that way. Instead of boasting about his abilities, he’s been content to let his play on the gridiron do the talking.
