Hunter, once a highly-touted recruit from Chesapeake, VA, was expected to start at boundary safety for the Hokies this season. According to the press release, Hunter’s suspension is for a student conduct issue that has yet to be resolved.
Redshirt freshman JR Walker could potentially replace Hunter at boundary safety.
