2020 Virginia Tech Defensive Line Preview

For the first time since 1995, Virginia Tech will have a defensive line coach not named Charley Wiles.  In fact, Justin Fuente brought in two new defensive line coaches in the offseason, hiring NFL veteran Bill Teerlinck from the Buffalo Bills and former Virginia Tech defensive end Darryl Tapp.  The new combination has Virginia Tech fans excited, though few of us know exactly what to expect.  That includes me.

Keep in mind that the Hokies haven’t updated their heights and weights, so we don’t have any way of knowing exactly how big some of these guys are.

Defensive End

Here’s a list of Virginia Tech’s defensive ends in order of seniority.  Remember, redshirt junior TyJuan Garbutt is currently not with the team due to a personal situation, and he isn’t expected to play this year.
