Virginia Tech picked up a commitment from 2021 offensive lineman Bryce Goodner on Monday night. Goodner is the 18th commitment of the 2021 recruiting class, and the second offensive lineman.
Goodner is 6-3, 300, and he’s expected to play on the interior of the offensive line for the Hokies. He had not picked up other Power 5 offers at this point, but he did have multiple offers from smaller FBS programs such as Air Force, Navy, Bowling Green, Kent State, Nevada, and others.
Goodner is a weight room warrior, with a reported squat of 600 pounds, though that number will likely drop slightly at the college level as he adjusts to different techniques. Right now we expect the Hokies to add a third offensive lineman to the 2021 class.
