Lawson picked the Hokies over fellow in-state program UVA. He is ranked the No. 38 player in the state by 247Sports. His recruitment has been limited because he only played in four games as a junior due to injury. The Hokies likely see him as a defensive player, with defensive end, linebacker and even safety as possibilities depending on how he grows in the future. Like everyone else, he also missed the spring evaluation period due to Covid-19.

Wow 6 – 4, good height for DE, needs weight though. Damn tall for LB or Safety but could still be my-Tee fine at either. Going to be fun to see where he ends up and seeing him sack a lot of QBs in his future. Glad to have you in the Hokie House. See you in 2021!!!
Not too tall for LB……He can be the next Tremaine Edmunds…..hopefully.
gimme a tre part deux
Welcome Keli! Your gonna be a great Hokie! We are lucky to have you aboard!
