At 6-3, 205, Fairs is expected to be an outside receiver at Virginia Tech.  His best season at Kansas came as a true sophomore in 2017 when he caught 24 passes for 335 yards and a touchdown.  He had seven receptions for 105 yards against Texas that season.  However, he never caught more than two passes in any of his other seasons in Lawrence.

Fairs injured his knee against Baylor as a junior in 2018 and opted to take a redshirt season.  He entered the transfer portal this past February, and he will have one year of eligibility remaining.  Fairs is originally from Fulshear, TX, which is just west of Houston.

    1. You’ve insulted a new recruit. Why would you do that? Think that will be helpful?

  1. Welcome Evan! Happy you are here! Lets get to work!
A much needed big WR to replace Damone’ (who I wish the best too in Mizzou)

    1. Are they slot or wideouts? Having someone with experience besides “Big Play Tre” would be helpful.

    2. There is zero downside to having more depth. Worst case, he pushes those guys and they have to play that much better to earn a spot on the field.

  2. If he’s healthy again we should be getting his best year. Hopefully, he comes in ready to play & brings a good attitude.

  3. Cool I live in Fulshear where did he go to High School? Found it he went to Foster in Richmond Texas. That high school has been putting out NFL talent
