Tyree Saunders is another Jacksonville signee, joining fellow 2020 classmate Keonta Jenkins, as well as past players such as Isaiah Ford and current players like Keshawn King and Chamarri Conner.  Saunders is a versatile receiver who can play inside or outside, and he tested well last year at Nike’s The Opening Regionals.

Saunders ran a 4.57 40 at that event, and also has a 34.9 inch vertical, which indicates good speed and explosiveness.  As a comparison, current VT slot receiver Tayvion Robinson posted a 4.87 40 and a 28.4 inch vertical at a similar Nike event, indicating that Saunders is faster and more explosive.  However, Robinson had a 4.22 shuttle time to Saunders’ 4.5 shuttle, which indicates that Robinson is quicker and shiftier.
