As the offer list grows, so do the expectations for Thomas Jefferson (Va.) 2021 three-star wide receiver Jaylen Jones. He expects more of himself than anyone else.

“I’m working on getting stronger, faster and more explosive,” he said. “I feel like my hands are where they need to be. I think I had like two drops last year, out of 76 receptions. That’s not bad, but I don’t want to have any drops next year. So, focusing on no drops and getting more explosive.”

Jones, Rivals.com’s No. 43 player in Virginia for his class, now has 10 offers. Most recently, Virginia Tech and Marshall joined the list. After four visits this spring, with one more coming, Jones is getting a better sense of where his game could be best utilized.
