For a few months, at least, Hutto (TX) four-star defensive end Landyn Watson thought he knew exactly what he wanted to do. That became evident when he announced his commitment to LSU last July.
Watson still has a good idea of what he wants to do long-term, with a desire to major in sports broadcasting. But where he’ll study that, and where he’ll play college football, has become far less certain.
Watson was back on the recruiting market on Dec. 2 when he announced his decommitment. Now, though he said he’s still open to schools that come into the picture, he admits that four schools have stood out, in part for how they’ve recruited him. This past weekend, Rivals.com’s No. 15 weakside defensive end for 2021 visited one of them.
