Leesville Road (NC) four-star point guard Carter Whitt doesn’t want to sit idly by in his recruitment, so he’s already looking at his second and third official visits. But he also makes it a point to explain he’s still open to any schools interested in adding his letter of intent.

Whitt, No. 52 in the 2021 Rivals150, has already taken one official visit, in September to Boston College. He’s ironing out details on two more this spring, to Nebraska and Ohio State. But even as Whitt has publicly expressed his interest in reclassifying to the 2020 class, he insists there’s still time for other schools to make a favorable impression on him.

“I would say having a really good relationship with the staff, being able to trust them is the main thing,” Whitt said. “Then, style of play and just seeing the player development they’ve had. But the biggest things are style of play and having a good time with the staff.”
