Virginia Tech head coach Mike Young drew acclaim with his ability to beat out programs like Tennessee and Texas A&M for top 100 guard Jalen Cone, despite getting a late start.  He continued his momentum into the class of 2020 by signing guards Joe Bamisile and Darius Maddox.

Bamisile is about 195 pounds, and he’s listed at either 6-4 or 6-5, depending on whom you ask.  Here are his national rankings…

Bamisile was the leading scorer in Richmond last season at Monacan High School, and he shined this past summer against top college prospects at the NBA Camp in Charlottesville.  He was originally committed to Northwestern, and he also held offers from Florida, Georgia Tech, Kansas State, Miami and West Virginia.
