If you saw what Patrick Mahomes’ injury looked like on Oct. 17, already knows what this one looked like. Like Mahomes, Mill Creek (Ga.) three-star defensive end Myles Jackson is fortunate his injury wasn’t worse.

The same day as Mahomes’ injury, Jackson suffered a similar fate. In practice, he took a helmet to his knee, resulting in a dislocated patella. Miraculously, Jackson suffered no ligament damage. Two days later, he was walking, and he said he expects to play next week, as he sits out this week as a precaution.

Recruiting-wise, Jackson, a former UCLA commitment, is narrowing down his recruitment. He made one official visit this past weekend, has one more set, and could be ready for a decision soon after with a public top four of Virginia Tech, UCLA, Georgia Tech and Illinois. By that time, Jackson, Rivals.com’s No. 140 player in Georgia for 2020, should be back to full health and making a playoff run.
