1) What’s the best way to honor the 1999 team for the 20th anniversary? I tweeted Whit Babcock a few months back about having the 2019 team don the ‘99 uniforms as cool way to recognize their 1999 achievement. He mentioned they wouldn’t have the jerseys to pull that off, but would think of some ways to thank the team. – Suffhokian
Chris Coleman: Yep, I suggested the same thing, and got basically the same answer, that it was too late to order jerseys for this season. I’m not sure anybody over there actually thought of it in time. Or, maybe they just didn’t think it was a good idea. Either way, I wish it had happened, because those uniforms from 1998-2003 are the best uniforms we’ve ever worn, in my opinion. I think the fans would have loved it. Oh well.
