  1. As always, great job by Evan. I love the coverage of wrestling, and it is clear Coach values the TSL audience.

What a tremendous accomplishment for Mekhi, Coach Robie and team!

  2. Thanks, watched the original live podcast. particularly liked Mekhi’s description of when he got the cradle and all the outside world went away and I think he described it like tv static. Awesome, suppose that’s waht is referred to as being “in the zone” just amazing.

    1. Yeah, that was a neat comment. Mekhi is shy and it took him a little while to relax, but I thought he told some good stories.

      1. Yeah, I went to that reception after the UVA game and picked up on that, turned around and there he was, but it took a double take to realize it was him, just a real quiet guy.

You may want to go look at the comments on facebook for the podcasts, I kind of through out “Olympics”? and Chris Taylor who coach Robie mentioned during the podcast – he must be a somebody – replied “He needs to develop more of a love for freestyle wresting first 😀” and we discussed – me asking, he answering – a little further. Just a tidbit, and certainly not a dig in any way, he’s doing fine w/o me!

Not to brag, but I’ve spent oh, about 30 seconds of my entire life in the zone, not just playing really well, but when everything else goes away. It’s kind of phenomenal so yeah, hope anyone listening picks up that it’s not just another day at the park.
