Another Signing Day In The Books

Another Signing Day is in the books, and the majority of the 2019 recruiting class has signed with Virginia Tech. The Hokies could still pick up a few guys in February, but for the most part the class is complete.

We’ll have a lot of coverage about this class and recruiting in general in the coming weeks. Today I want to talk about the guys who I believe are the top recruits in the class, as well as a couple of other topics.

My Top Five

It’s  difficult to rank my top five. Not everybody has senior highlights available online yet. I haven’t seen any of these guys in person. Highlights don’t tell the whole story. Plus, certain positions are harder to evaluate than others. Jesse Hanson probably has the best highlight film of anybody, but he’s going up against 200-lb defensive tackles from Southwest Virginia. He’s a tough guy to evaluate because of the level of competition.

Also, I reserve the right to change my mind after the February signing period. You never know what could happen. Plus, some guys could upload senior highlights between now and then, which could change my perspective of them.
