Virginia Tech-Miami Set For 3:30 Kickoff

Virginia Tech’s home game against Miami has been scheduled for a 3:30pm kickoff, and it will be nationally televised by ESPN.

What once promised to be a late season battle with a trip to the ACC Championship Game on the line is now anything but exciting.  Both teams are having less than stellar seasons.  The Hokies are 4-5 overall, and 3-3 in conference play.  Miami, who was the pick to win the ACC Coastal Division before the season began, is 5-5 overall and 2-4 in the conference following their latest loss to Georgia Tech.

We’ll have a full game preview later in the week.

  1. We play like we have the last 3 games, we are gonna get kicked to the curb again. I have a feeling though that the Hokies are gonna come out with all guns blazing and kick some butt. Lets beat somebody.

  2. Let’s try to be positive. It’s not the end of the world. We will recover. Too many good people and players in the program.

  3. Ah, ESPN has been putting us on national TV a lot lately…..as we are in the midst of a horrendous season. Coincidence? This game screamed ACCN at 12:20. Only let 1/3 of the country see it!

    1. They’re trying to catch the train wreck as it happens. After we win this one, maybe they’ll schedule the UVA-c game for 8:00.
