Virginia Tech has tweeted the uniform reveal for Saturday’s game at North Carolina: maroon helmet, maroon jerseys, and white pants.

This is best referred to as Virginia Tech’s “traditional” home uniform, right down to the fact that the maroon helmet is the metallic look, not matte.
This week’s game is at 7 PM and will be televised on ESPNU.

This is my favorite combo.
Will: I guess this is important to some fans; however, the weekly fashion show of uniforms is getting old. I wish the team and fans would focus on other things and this could go on the “back burner.”

Good combo. Interesting that UNCheat is presumably wearing white jerseys for their home game.
They don’t have any fans there anyway, not to even touch on home field advantage. Might as well be an away game for them.
So to go wth that theme, UNC player jerseys will look like empty seats?
Maybe the UNC fans are upset because they changed the stadium name from “Keenan Sr.” to “Keenan Jr.” That will keep the alumni stirred up for sure.
I would like to see ‘color vs. color’ – maybe they will wear Carolina blue.
