We’re back with the latest installment of “The Moment,” with pictures of the victory at Duke. We decided not to do The Moment after the ODU game, because, well … ODU.

We had ten or eleven good candidates, but we narrowed it down to the four pics you see here. All photos are by Ivan Morozov.

These photos are higher-res than what we normally post. These shots are all 2500 x 1600. Click on each photo to view it in its full resolution.

For a complete photogallery of the game (135 photos), check out Ivan’s personal site.

  1. Losing your mom is hard. I’m thankful I didn’t lose mine while I was in college. Prayers Houshon Gaines.

    1. Pretty good analogy. I liked the description of UNC – “beautiful swing that ends up in the trees more often than not, but every now and then they smoke a long one down the middle of the fairway” That’s how I see Miami. Although, it seems as Miami’s fairway shot is against VT more often than not.

  2. Ivan, your sports photography is outstanding- gets better each year! I think that your knowledge of soccer and wrestling give you an edge to your photography that only someone who has been through the fires of competition can capture 🔥

    Great job!
