Virginia Tech has tweeted the uniform reveal for Saturday’s game against Notre Dame: ALL MAROON EVERYTHING.
Here’s a link to the original HokiesFB tweet.
This combination was worn against West Virginia in the 2017 season opener, but the helmet for Saturday appears to be the matte maroon helmet worn in the season opener against Florida State.
The Hokies and Irish will kick off sometime after 8 PM on ABC this Saturday.
Good post. I learn something totally new and challenging
on blogs I stumbleupon everyday. It will always be interesting to read content
from other authors and use something from other sites.
This a great uniform and I wish they would always use it, home and away. Lots of storied, great teams do this. It’s like iconic.
All orange perhaps? A little ecclesiastical humor?
So, everyone in the “maroon striped” sections gets a free drink?
i guess i am only that is is not my favorite !
I have always wondered if switching uniforms (especially helmets) every game impacts players. I know my helmet took time to break in for maximum comfort. I can’t imagine switching headgear several times in a season.
Now we’re talking. Love the uniform.
Finally.
This just melted my face off!
Sounds painful.
All maroon always my favorite…looks mean, now let’s play that way! Go Hokies!
Back by popular demand All Maroon Er’thing!
Wish this was the permanent color combo.
Yes, please.
love it!!
Great combo for a home night game.
Actually, ND will look prettier on TV. Wait and see.
I likey!
