Virginia Tech has tweeted the uniform reveal for Saturday’s game against Duke: maroon helmets, white jerseys, and maroon pants.

The Hokies last wore this combination in the Camping World Bowl against Oklahoma State at the end of the 2017 season.
The Hokies and Blue Devils will kick off at 7 PM Saturday, and the game will be televised on ESPN2.

This is useless if they don’t play well. After last week’s performance the team should be place in the old all-maroon uniforms until they get it together.

All Duke has to do is punch our guys in the mouths, and our guys will wilt. Happens every time. The coaches can pay lip service to “tough”, but a “uniform reveal” isn’t tough.
Are they getting pedicures, too?
Uniform reveal isn’t for the players; it’s for the fans. I like knowing in advance what uniform we will be wearing and suspect most fans do. This doesn’t “reveal” anything good or bad about our players and coaching staff. That is revealed on the field. You can talk smack about our play (last week; every week), but lumping in the uniform reveal into that analysis is ridiculous.
Love that combo for away games. Wish it were standard issue for road games.
And if someone slightly twisted my arm, it would even be acceptable as the standard home uniform.
