1) I assume Devon Hunter will be the next Anthony Shegog and Ladler is no slouch, but are you disappointed that Hunter didn’t seize the job outright, and how do you see his future with the program playing out? He is in the same class as Khalil Ladler and Divine Deablo (this eliminates Ladler moving to FS in the future). We are also set at backer with Rivers and Hollifield. The only other option is Rover, but it seems like Chamarri Conner is the next man up once Reggie Floyd leaves. – uvabasher

Chris Coleman: If Khalil Ladler had played poorly in his two games as a starter last season, I’d be worried a bit.  However, from what I saw from Ladler, he looked like a good player.  He was right there in the backfield on the goal line stand against Pitt, he played well against UVA (then again, they weren’t a threat at all offensively), and he wasn’t exploited against Oklahoma State.
