In late May, Woodward Academy (Ga.) three-star running back Tahj Gary released a top eight. That group consisted of Purdue, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Kentucky, Boston College, North Carolina and South Carolina.           

There’s not an official list trim, but Gary has a few in his mind that stand out a bit. A few summer visits helped get him to this point, which could end with a commitment very soon.           

Gary, Rivals.com’s No. 35 running back and No. 63 player in Georgia for 2019, said Virginia Tech, Boston College, South Carolina, Mississippi State and North Carolina are the schools he’s “interested in most and just talking to.” No visits are planned for now, but Gary said he’s looking for a few specifics with those standing out.
