William Pritchard
Offensive Lineman, Class of 2019
Manchester High School, Midlothian, VA
6-3, 290

Virginia Tech got more good news on Sunday when Manchester High School (Midlothian, VA) offensive lineman William Pritchard announced his commitment to the Hokies.  He becomes Tech’s second commitment of the weekend, joining Florida defensive tackle Mario Kendricks.

Pritchard is Virginia Tech’s 14th commitment of the 2019 recruiting class.  He is the third offensive lineman of the class, joining Bryan Hudson and Jesse Hanson.  The Hokies are likely finished with offensive line recruiting for 2019.

Pritchard is projected to play guard or center at the college level.  He chose the Hokies over Power 5 offers from Tennessee, Illinois and Syracuse.

  1. Pritchard. The Punisher. I like the sound of that. Welcome to Hokie Nation.

  2. Why is this kid just a three star? The way he is punishing people he needs to be at least a four star.

  3. The Punisher!!! Heck, yeah!!! Hard, Smart, Tough! Glad he’s a Hokie!

  4. Manchester is literally a short walk from my home. I will have go watch Mr. Pritchard play this fall (wearing Hokie gear of course).

  5. welcome Mr. Pritchard! your film looks great, and you look a little “naaasteey” in the trenches as well as downfield: bring that with you. have a great senior year, study hard and come up early – if you can.
you’ve picked a great school for higher education and personal growth, as well as football. welcome to the Hokie Family! btw: we already have a building named for you; recognition, but no pressure there. we look forward to seeing you soon.

and “thanks!” to our coaches, our recruit team, and our professors and academic counselors for your determined work in bringing this fine young man – and our other 2019 recruits – to Virginia Tech. well done.

    Go Hokies!

  6. Blake DeChristopher was from the town of Midlothian, but Clover Hill high school.

Manchester (where Pritchard is) also sent AB Lattif to the Hokies about 10 years ago and a couple kids to Clemson. Manchester also has one of the top QBs in the state this year. Coach Hall will have a solid playoff team this fall.

  7. We had another OL from Midlothian a few years ago who did very well for the Hokies.
Blake DeChristopher – believe he was a 4 year starter and got a shot at the NFL.
Glad to have this young man from Midlothian, too.
