Nick Gallo Commits To Virginia Tech

Nick Gallo
Tight End, Class of 2019
Council Rock South High School, Holland, PA
6-3, 225

Virginia Tech picked up another commitment on Tuesday night when 2019 tight end Nick Gallo announced his decision.

Gallo, from Holland, PA, is the brother of former Virginia Tech starting center Eric Gallo.  He chose the Hokies over Power 5 offers from Boston College, Duke, Maryland, Minnesota, UNC, Northwestern, Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuse and Wake Forest.

Gallo had been considered a Virginia Tech lean for the past few months.  He is Tech’s 10th commitment of the 2019 recruiting cycle.

  1. Good recruit, great name, perhaps a nephew of Jerry Gallo from “My Cousin Vinnie”?

  2. Watching highlight film recorded in the stadium where I played high school football and my father coached is surreal. Congratulations to another Council Rock to VT connection!

      1. Of course that was so long ago that the stadium didn’t even have lights…but that is another issue entirely

  3. This young man is a nice addition to class that is getting players of need. Fuente and his staff seems to selecting for this small class .
