Louisa County High School in Mineral, Va. isn’t a well-traveled location. Located off I-64, just northwest of Richmond, people generally drive right by Louisa County without giving it a second thought.
However, if you’re into watching good high school football, you should take the exit. Not only will you see a competitive team that reached the VHSL Class 4 State Championship Game last season, you’ll get to see Class of 2019 linebacker Brandon Smith.
“There’s a reason everyone knows of or has heard of Louisa County. We’ve got a pretty good football player here,” said Louisa County head coach Will Patrick.
