Two schools have hosted Scott County (Ky.) four-star offensive tackle Bryan Hudson (6-foot-4, 292 pounds) this year for junior days. While those two are in favorable position, others remain in the mix, even those who have only recently offered.

Hudson, No. 242 in the Rivals250 for the 2019 class, now has 24 offers, most recently from Arkansas, Notre Dame, Missouri, Georgia Tech and Syracuse. More visits are coming, which could help him finally narrow down his list. But for now, the door remains open.

“I think it does make a difference, to an extent,” Hudson said on whether he likes schools who offered him early more than those who didn’t. “They saw me and put faith in me early. Then again, Arkansas, I was speaking with their offensive line coach (last night). With staff changes, they got a later start. You can’t give them the short end of the stick. It still means a lot to put faith in me early. With changes or other things, they have no choice but to come in at a later time.”

Hudson hasn’t taken any visits the past month. His most recent stop was on Jan. 20 to nearby Kentucky for the Wildcats’ junior day and basketball game vs. Florida. The Wildcats were among the first to offer Hudson and he holds them in high regard.
