As of now, the recruitment of Landstown (Va.) 2019 cornerback Jalen Jennings is still a bit idle. His first offer, however, could be what really kicks it in gear.
Jennings (6-1, 160) was offered Nov. 30 by Virginia Tech. That came just after the conclusion to his junior season, in which Landstown finished 12-1. Other schools have been in contact, too, but Jennings is still doing some waiting while searching for his future home.
“I look at the atmosphere and mainly, academics,” he said. “But I also want to make sure I get along with the coaches as well.”
Jennings has yet to visit Blacksburg. He’s already heard plenty of positives, however, from what he’s seen online and from friends who have gone there.
