In last week’s target board update, we listed 11 players who were still on the board for Virginia Tech. Three of them committed to the Hokies over the weekend (James Mitchell, Jeremy Webb and Walker Culver) and are scheduled to sign their letters of intent on Wednesday. Several others are off the board completely, for various reasons that we won’t get into.

From what I’ve heard, Virginia Tech is currently pursuing four remaining prospects for the 2018 recruiting class. One of them will make his decision Wednesday, while the other three are likely to wait and make their final decision after New Year’s, so Tech’s signing list tomorrow won’t look much different than it looks today.
