Class of 2019 Linebacker Raymond Cutts Developing Relationship With Virginia Tech

While his future in football is important, Class of 2019 linebacker Raymond Cutts focusing on his future after football as well. For years, Cutts has had his future profession in mind for a while and now, it’s turned into a big factor in his recruitment.

Cutts has offers from Virginia Tech, Syracuse, Cincinnati, Florida Atlantic and Massachusetts . He has visit plans coming up the next couple of weekends and with each stop, he said he’s checking out a few specifics.

“This might sound corny, but I want to go to a good veterinarian program,” Cutts said. “If football doesn’t work out, I want to be a vet. I want a place I can call home away from home. I like animals and working with them. That’s my second dream, besides making it in football. I’ve wanted to do it for a long time.”

The Hokies were the first to offer, in January. Cutts has taken notice of Virginia Tech, both because of the football program and the university’s Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine.
