He’s seen all this before. In the past year, Indian River High School athlete Cameron Hunter watched his brother go through the recruiting process as one of the most sought-after players in the country. Now, Hunter is going through his own recruitment for the Class of 2020.

Cameron’s older brother, Devon, was ranked No. 47 in the 2017 Rivals100. Devon signed his letter of intent in February with Virginia Tech and is on pace to play a big role this season as a freshman.

Cameron has learned a lot from his older brother. He’s learned how to deal with publicity and expectations, and how to balance school, football and any social life. With three high school seasons to go, the youngest Hunter has plenty of time before he makes the jump to college. But with offers from Virginia Tech and North Carolina, he’s off to a strong start.

“I just want a great program that’s about bettering players as men and football players,” Cameron said. “A great coaching staff, great training staff to keep everyone healthy, well-rounded teammates to keep guys around and stuff like that.”
