Thursday marked the first time Dr. Phillips (FL) cornerback Braxton Clark set foot in Virginia. But in that short amount of time, he found what he was looking for.

This past weekend, Clark, along with his father, took an Allegiant Airlines flight to Roanoke and visited Virginia Tech. Clark left that trip with an offer, one that he had on his mind when the trip began. And after mulling that over, on Tuesday night, he accepted it.

Multiple factors played a part in Clark’s commitment, the Hokies’ eighth commitment for the 2018 class. Now, Clark is readying himself for the role he could play in their defense.
