Conner is a 6-foot, 183-pound safety from Jacksonville, FL. He’s rated as a 3-star safety for the Class of 2018. He plays at Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville, the same school that Virginia Tech’s Isaiah Ford went to.
Conner has 12 scholarship offers at this point, including Colorado, Florida, Michigan, NC State, North Carolina, South Carolina and Wake Forest.
Conner has good speed for a safety and isn’t afraid to make big hits. He also shows the ability to read the quarterback and jump routes. Here’s some of his highlight film.
Conner is the third commitment for Virginia Tech so far in the ’18 class. Conner joins quarterback DeJuanĀ Ellis, as well as athlete BryceĀ Thompson.
If he had been playing against Duke he would have gotten at least 3 targeting calls.
Great news. Coach Fuente and his staff are amazing.
Saw he was listed as a 4 star from another source on Twitter. I know there are multiple sites and believe TSL just uses one for uniformity i assume. 247 composite maybe.
It looks like he knows how to lay wood.
Seems Chamarri is a type of tropical hardwood. Very hard.
