    1. Might not have included that year as “Bud Foster era” since he was co-DC with Rod Sharpless that year.

    #5 Rushing Defense
    #3 Scoring Defense
    #5 Pass Efficiency Defense
    #5 Sacks
    #4 3rd Down % Defense
    #8 Interceptions

    1. Yeah, the only bad thing about that 07 D was LSU. I think if we play that LSU game later in the season when our rovers and whips had some game experience its a far different game (defensively).

      1. I would certainly hope so. It couldn’t have been any worse – over 600 yards allowed by the VT D, if memory serves correctly!
