Well, that was quick.

Just a week after offering Class of 2018 athlete Bryce Thompson, the Hokies picked up his commitment on Saturday at the Blacksburg Bash.

Thompson is the first commitment for the Hokies of the ’18 class.

Thompson, from Irmo, SC., has been offered by East Carolina and Virginia Tech. At 6-feet and 180-pounds, Thompson currently plays quarterback and defensive back for Dutch Fork High School.

Here are his most recent highlights available, from his freshman season.

    1. I totally agree with you. I have a feeling that once USC offers, he’ll go back on his commitment to us. Can’t blame the kid.
