Virginia Tech doesn’t hit the JUCO ranks very often. Back in 2003, they signed James Griffin, and he went on to start at rover for Tech’s 2004 ACC Championship team. However, the Hokies hadn’t signed a JUCO since then until Justin Fuente came to town. Fuente immediately recognized the pressing need at quarterback and offensive line, so he went out and inked Jerod Evans and Demetri Moore. Both guys will have a great opportunity to start this season.
