Virginia Tech Expected to have more Star Power in 2015

The college football magazines and online publications are starting to release their Preseason All-American and All-Conference lists. After reading through a few of them, it’s clear that those publications believe the Hokies have a little more star power than usual on this year’s team.

While it’s always important to have a roster loaded with good, solid players, you aren’t going to win or play for conference championships without a lot of star power on your team. Think back to Tech’s conference championships through the years. Those teams were loaded with big-time talent…

1995 and 1996: Cornell Brown, Jim Druckenmiller, JC Price (95), Torrian Gray, Ken Oxendine, Bryan Still (1995), Marcus Parker, etc. All those guys listed above, plus others, went on to play in the NFL.

1999: Michael Vick, Corey Moore, Andre Davis, John Engelberger, Ike Charlton, Shyrone Stith, Anthony Midget, Cory Bird, etc. All those guys listed above, plus others, went on to play in the NFL.
